2009 Programme and Targets

Team Blue have established a training programme which will include two boat testing sessions and weekly racing in Falmouth.

The events calender and objectives are is as follows: -

Top 3 in first UK ranking event, Round the Island Race - June 20th
Top 40 at European Championships in Hyeres - August 22nd to 29th (100 boats)
Top 3 at UK Nationals - September 10th to 13th (20 boats)
Top 30 at Hyeres Regatta - October 28th to November 2nd ( 80 boats)

Round the Island Race

Team Blue, the Cornish Melges 24 are off on the Round the Island Race. We are all booked in and the boat is now ready for launching. I'd like to hear from anyone else competing in the class? Let's hope it's blowing and we can take out some big boys!
